🏎️ High-Speed Racing, Extraction Horrors & Voxel Mayhem: PlayStation Plus October 2026 Games Revealed!
Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Essential monthly games lineup for October 2026.
Starting Tuesday, October 6, 2026, subscribers across all tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium) can claim three fantastic titles spanning high-octane Formula 1 racing, atmospheric gothic survival horror, and quirky voxel-based co-op action.
You have until November 2, 2026 to add these games to your PlayStation library!
🏎️ The October 2026 Lineup Highlights
1. 🏎️ F1 25 (PS5)
Lead the pack in the official game of the FIA Formula One World Championship! F1 25 delivers the most realistic wheel-to-wheel racing experience to date on PlayStation 5.
Enhanced Career & My Team 2.0: Create your own Formula 1 squad, manage drivers, and compete against real-world teams across legendary international circuits.
F1 World Squad Racing: Race online with friends in a new cooperative multiplayer mode where your group forms a team to battle intelligent AI driver grids and climb global leaderboards.
2. 🧟 Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5)
Step into the treacherous, corrupt backwaters of 1896 in Crytek's critically acclaimed high-stakes extraction shooter.
PvPvE Tactical Warfare: Enter the bayou alone or in teams of up to three players. Track down horrifying nightmare bosses, banish them to hell, and claim their bounty—all while hunting (or being hunted by) rival player factions desperate to steal your loot before extraction.
Unforgiving Mechanics: Permadeath, atmospheric horror lighting, and realistic, period-accurate weaponry make every shootout an edge-of-your-seat standoff.
3. 👾 Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5, PS4)
For fans of arcade co-op shooter chaos, World Brothers 2 brings the iconic EDF franchise to life in a charming, blocky voxel universe.
Squad Builder Mechanics: Assemble a 4-hero squad from over a hundred collectible teammates, switching between characters on the fly to chain together ridiculous abilities.
Co-Op Destruction: Save a fractured, square Earth from giant insect swarms and kaiju boss encounters via 4-player online co-op or 2-player split-screen local play.
