Privacy and security

Your personal data. If you want to order a code with us, you leave personal data. We can imagine that you would like to know why we ask for your personal data and what we do with them. We would like to tell you about this. If you still have questions after reading this, please let us know through the customer service.

Dreamgame attaches great importance to the securing of your personal data. Dreamgame has therefore taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. For example, we always use a secured (SSL) connection during the ordering process and when we transmit contact forms. In case we share your data with a third party, we require that this third party treats your data just as carefully as we do ourselves and only uses the data for the agreed purpose. If you feel that this is not happening, please let us know. Here below, you’ll read why and when we share your personal data.

Personalization

We often use your information to make your shopping experience as personal as possible. For example, we use data from previous orders, your IP address and your surf and search behaviour stored in cookies. You can read more about cookies below.

What else do we do with your data?

We use your data for different purposes. After this you can see which purposes they are. We use data we received from you but also data we collected ourselves, for example data about your visit to our website.

To deliver an order

To deliver your order, we need your name, email address, address(es), payment details and sometimes your telephone number. Besides that, these data allow us to keep you informed about your order. If it’s required for an order, we also share your data with third parties, for example with delivery services or with our distribution centre. And if you order through Dreamgame from an external supplier, we will share your data with this supplier. We require from our external suppliers to treat your data just as carefully as we do ourselves.

Your account

When you create an account, we store the following data: your name, address(es), telephone number, email address, delivery and payment details. That’s convenient because then you don’t have to enter these data every time again. We also store data about your previous orders so that you can easily access them.

Customer service

You can either call us or send an email. In order to be able to help you quickly with questions, we use your data and we take notes that we save. Practical if you call us on another occasion. Data about the telephone conversation with you are recorded and an email is also saved. In this way, you help us in analysing and improving our services. Sometimes we use a third party to answer your questions, they might use your data for that.

Repairs

Sometimes we use a third party to carry out repairs on products that you have purchased from us. That third party can use your data for that. Here as well, we require that they handle your data just as carefully as we do.

Newsletters

You can sign up for our various newsletters. In this way you stay informed of our offers, promotions and our news. If you don’t want to receive any more newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe by removing the tick at Newsletter in your account overview.

Reviews

We always welcome reviews, just like our other customers. For this, we use the services of Yotpo. After a successful order, you will also receive an email in which we ask you if Yotpo may invite you to give a review. If you select no here, you will not receive an invitation at your email address. If you want to write a review directly, we ask for your email address and you can enter a name. An email will be sent to the email address asking you to confirm that you are who you are. When writing a review, your first name will be shown on the Dreamgame website. We keep track of who writes which review.

Contests

If you take part in an action or a contest, we will ask you for your name, address and email address. In this way we can carry out the contest and announce the prize winner(s). We also measure the response to our advertising campaigns.

Personal shopping

We follow cookies and your IP address, but also your previous orders and your interests which we know because we asked you. In addition, we and our advertising networks and media agencies can show you ads. These ads are selected on the basis of your previous visits to our websites and the websites of third parties. We and our advertising networks and media agencies collect your surfing, searching and buying behaviour with cookie techniques, your IP address and the advertising number that is linked to the device you are surfing with.

Improvement of our store and services

We are constantly improving our services. That is why we might use your data to ask you if you would like to participate in a no-obligation customer or market research. Sometimes third parties carry out that research for us. In that case, we share your email address with that third party. The third party must of course also comply with our privacy rules. For example, your email address must be deleted after the research. We also use Google Analytics for this, so that we can see what people like, but also when people distance themselves.

Fraud

Dreamgame spares no effort to investigate, prevent and combat fraud. To achieve this, we use customer data. In case this should be required, we share customer data with the government.

Business customers and partner program

We also store data from the contact person of our business customers and partners. If these data are personal data, we treat them just like those of our other customers.

What do we not do with your data?

We will never use your personal data to show you different prices than to other customers. Everyone sees the same prices. In addition, we will never sell your data to third parties.

Are your data not correct or do you have other questions?

If something is not correct, do you want to have access to your data or would you like to have your data removed? Please contact our customer service. We are ready to help you.
